GREEN TURBINE^tm is a small R & D company, established in 1997, owned by a graduate engineer in electrical science. Headquartered in the Netherlands, part of the development is done in the US. Also some important components and tools are purchased in the US.

In Canada, Green Turbine Inc. has been established.

Development of the turbine started in 2004. In August of 2008, a working prototype was completed and fulfilled the specifications. Patent for most countries is pending (PCT application). The development was completely funded by GREEN TURBINE^tm
